Jehovah's Kingdom

Jehovah God’s kingship, while visibly expressed for a time through the Israelite kingdom, is one of universal sovereignty.

  •  "Then David praised Jehovah before the eyes of all the congregation. David said: “May you be praised, O Jehovah the God of Israel our father, throughout all eternity. Yours, O Jehovah, are the greatness+ and the mightiness+ and the beauty and the splendor and the majesty,*+ for everything in the heavens and on the earth is yours.+ Yours is the kingdom, O Jehovah.+ You are the One exalting yourself as head over all.  The riches and the glory are from you,+ and you rule over everything,+ and in your hand there are power+ and mightiness,+ and your hand is able to make great+ and to give strength to all.+  And now, O our God, we thank you and praise your beautiful name." 1 Chronicles 29.10-13

Whether acknowledged by the peoples and kingdoms of mankind or not, his kingship is absolute and unalterable, and all the earth is part of his rightful domain. (Ps 103:19; 145:11-13; Isa 14:26, 27

By virtue of His creatorship, Jehovah exercises his sovereign will in heaven and on earth, according to his own purposes, answerable to no one (Jer 18:3-10; Da 4:25, 34, 35), yet always acting in harmony with his own righteous standards.—Mal 3:6; Heb 6:17, 18; Jas 1:17.

The Messianic Kingdom receives it's power and authority from Jehovah, who is Sovereign

over all creation.Revelation 4.11, John 5.19,40; Acts 2.32-36; Heb 10.12,13; Rev.12.10
